A Bookstore Front-End on Pure Web Fundamentals

The Challenge

A store interface has to guide as well as display: browsing that stays engaging, forms that catch bad input before submission, and content that updates without page reloads — all with fundamentals, no framework, and coordinated across a team.

  • Engaging browsing without a framework
  • Client-side validation before submission
  • Dynamic updates without reloads
  • A shared codebase across the team

The Approach

We built it with jQuery-driven interactivity on a Bootstrap layout: interactive browsing components, validated forms and DOM-updated content, with the team splitting features on one codebase.

  • jQuery interactivity on Bootstrap
  • Client-side form validation
  • Dynamic DOM content updates
  • Team feature split on one codebase

What I Built

A complete interactive storefront.

  • Interactive browsing interface
  • Client-side validation
  • Dynamic content updates

The Outcome

Delivered as an ITI team project with a live demo online — foundational front-end work, done as a team.

  • Live demo online
  • Team delivery during ITI training
  • Fundamentals still under all my front-end work
