Audience
Industrial sales teams handling RFQs
QuoteMate, From Messy RFQs to Professional Quotes in Seconds

The Challenge

RFQs arrive however the customer feels like sending them: a scanned PDF, a photo of a list, a rambling email. A salesperson retypes all of it into a quote, and every retype costs hours and invites errors. The platform had to read those messy inputs and produce a document ready to send.

  • RFQs arrive as PDFs, images and free text
  • Manual retyping is slow and error-prone
  • Quotes must look professional every time
  • Past quotes need to be findable

The Approach

Built on Next.js with OpenAI-powered extraction: the AI pulls line items and requirements out of PDF and image RFQs, the platform structures them into professional quote documents in seconds, and everything is archived in a searchable database.

  • AI-driven data extraction from PDF and image RFQs
  • Automated professional quote generation
  • Document structuring and database archiving
  • Workflow optimized for sales teams

What I Built

A quoting pipeline that starts from whatever the customer sends.

  • Extraction from unstructured RFQ inputs
  • Quote documents generated in seconds
  • Searchable quote archive
  • A sales-team-first workflow

The Outcome

QuoteMate collapses the RFQ-to-quote cycle from hours of retyping to seconds of review — applied AI on a real industrial workflow, with a live demo online.

  • Live demo online
  • Hours of manual work per quote removed
  • AI applied to a concrete business bottleneck
