Legacy Code Rescue
Project stuck? I take it from here.
The developer disappeared, the bugs are piling up, and nobody dares to touch the code. I take over inherited and abandoned codebases, stabilize them, and get them moving again, without the "rewrite from scratch" that costs you six months and the product you already paid for.
This page is for you if…
- ✓The previous developer vanished mid-project, or handed over code with no documentation
- ✓The site or app is live, earning, and breaking, and every fix seems to break something else
- ✓You got a quote for a full rewrite and it felt like paying twice for the same product
- ✓Nobody on your side knows how to deploy it, or where the credentials even are
- ✓An agency built it, the contract ended, and now every small change takes weeks
How a rescue actually works
Audit first: you pay for clarity before any fix
I get the project building and running from scratch, map what exists, and hand you a written report: what is broken, what is risky, what it costs to fix. You decide with real information.
Stop the bleeding
The bugs that lose you money or users get fixed first: payment failures, crashes, broken flows. You see visible progress in the first week, not after a quarter.
Stabilize without breaking what works
Small, reviewable changes, no drive-by rewrites. The app keeps serving your users the whole time; every release is small enough to roll back safely.
Hand over properly
Documented setup, credentials in your hands, a clear map of the codebase, so you are never hostage to a single developer again. Ongoing maintenance only if you want it.
Not theory. Shipped work.
Medicta: a live React Native app on Google Play with real users, real bugs and no access to the original developers. Taken over, stabilized, redesigned and shipped back without a day of downtime.
Tell me where it hurts
Send a short description of the project and its current state. I will reply with what an audit covers, what it costs, and how fast I can start, with no obligation.
